Adecco is currently assisting a global technology organization in their search to fill a Product Operations Analyst in Mountain View, CA. This is a long-term temporary opportunity; up to 2 years.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Operations Analyst who can combine data-driven insights with practical knowhow to ensure we create impactful products to drive meaningful business outcomes.

The Product Operations Analyst will own analytical support for the Product Operations team responsible for fulfillment quality. Our operational goal is to ensure every customer order placed gets fulfilled perfectly: on time and without missing or damaged items. If we fall short of our goal, we immediately identify root causes and partner with cross-functional teams to execute solutions. The Product Operations Analyst will also help shape the future design of our products and processes by highlighting opportunities for growth, scale, and efficiency.

We’re looking for someone with uncontrollable initiative and a sizable appetite for data and the “so what?” beyond the numbers and an expert in SQL. Our ideal candidate can extract actionable insights to help drive execution across a diverse set of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Understand the functionality underlying systems, tools, and processes that drive store fulfillment operations
• Analyze the impact and outcomes enabled by fulfillment products and operations; help identify areas for improvement and quantify priority, scale, and impact
• Collect and synthesize user feedback to help continue to evolve existing products and processes
• Document requirements and codify learnings in support of new product design
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to launch new product features and/or implement new operational processes or tests

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in engineering or other quantitative field
• 1-3 years of work experience in quantitative roles or functions
• Demonstrated ability to query, manipulate, and extract actionable insights from large-scale data sources and systems
• Proficiency in SQL (or similar); sufficient skill to create queries from scratch, and the desire to quickly deepen expertise as needed through self-directed practice and study
• Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work at speed
• Self-directed, curious, and intrinsically motivated
• Collaborative with a strong bias for action
• Passion for online commerce, and the underlying operations that enable goods to ship from a source location to the final customer
• Ability to drive, on rare occasions, to Bay Area stores where we currently run fulfillment operations for Google Express
• Experience working with Google Sheets, Slides, Powerpoint or other presentation tools
