Product Sales Specialist

Our client, a leader in oilfield supplies and products, is looking for a Product Sales Specialist that is able to work remotely while meetings extensive goals and objectives in the field.

Promote and sell products to strategic market segments to develop new customers through direct sales calls and/or representatives. Provide technical and applications support to representatives and end users. Support existing sales channels including the efforts of Regional Sales Managers and select distributors. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Work to identify and develop new customers and applications. 2. Participate in onsite meetings with prospects and customers. 3. Provide market and application information for the defined markets. 4. Help produce marketing materials including presentations, bulletins, sales and technical manuals. 5. Review and analyze customer requirements through blueprints, plans or other information to develop and prepare a detailed proposal which describes: type of equipment needed, price, delivery time and financial terms for the described product. 6. Review proposals for compliance with company standards and contract language. 7. Provide technical, installation and trouble shooting consultation with customers, sales and other Company departments. Market / sell products to the Power Transmission & Distribution Industry, Transformer Manufacturing Industry, Circuit Breaker and Switch gear Manufacturing Industry and related service companies and product related market segments. 8. Identify key prospects, complete needs assessments, generate and qualify leads. 9. Develop sales plans to meet / exceed established quotas. 10. Routinely track and communicate to management sales prospects, competitive threats, revenue/profit expectations, etc. 11. Participate in promotional events where prospective customers meet conferences, trade shows, speakers bureaus & industry relations programs. 12. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively. 13. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company. 14. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards. 15. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner. 16. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. 17. All other jobrelated duties assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business preferred. One year sales experience through direct sales channels minimum. In depth technical knowledge of one or more of the Companys product lines. Strategic, high energy professional with a resultsoriented history of sales above quota. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage within the constraints of multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where growth and professionalism will be achieved largely through creativity, integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, sense of urgency, a balance between strategic and tactical skills and a willingness to roll up ones sleeves. Leadership skills characterized by rapidly assimilating a broad vision of needs and creating solutions that can be executed effectively. Ability to travel 50% of the time with frequent overnight travel requirements. Physical Requirements including but not limited to: Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. Ability to routinely travel throughout multifloor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs. Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions. Normal vision and manual dexterity for office duties. Normal office environment, constant exposure to various people requesting information, routinely restricted to work station.
