Product Sourcing and Development Intern


Adecco is currently recruiting for a paid, year round internship position with one of Delaware County's leading employers! The opening would provide an opportunity for professional development and possibly permanent employment upon graduation. 


  • Minimum of two years of college education, pursuing a Bachelors degree
  • Ability to work part-time (20 hours/week) during school year and full time (40 hours/week) during the summer
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities 
  • Must be a self starter who can work independently with minimal direction 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be a team player with a good attitude and have a willingness to take direction while learning new tasks
Basic Responsibilities
Support the Solutions Delivery Procurement/Purchasing organization to include:
  • Manage customer specific Cost Estimate Requests (CER), RFQs and Supplied Deliver Schedule (SDS) cost tracking spreadsheet
  • Coordinate the receiving and distribution of customer specific projects as needed during peak season and perform other administrative project tasks
  • Participate in cross functional meetings to gain a better understanding of the business as a whole 
  • Proactively audit retail for competitive samples and assist in project to source items for specific customer needs
  • Learn the basics of cost negotiation by assisting in cost evaluation projects 
  • Manage purchasing data entry systems to ensure POs PIRs and BW are accurate and updated.
