Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Product Specialist / Customer Service Representative. This individual will receive phone calls with the intent of promoting and selling products to meet company strategic business objectives. Offers excellent customer service. Resolves customer issues/problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (tasks which are a basic, necessary and integral part of the job):
- As a member of the Sales Team, answers incoming inquiries providing in-depth product information to callers, turns prospects into customers, and takes both complex and routine orders.
- Answers electronic inquiries via email using company templates.
- Conducts in-house showroom appointments with high ratio of sales to appointments.
- Facilitates resolution for comfort exchanges, returns, and damaged orders with superior customer service at the lowest possible cost to the company.
- Coordinates logistical issues for product exchanges and returns with customer and internal personnel to ensure process is efficient.
- Collects and documents information from customers regarding warranty concerns and provides guidance regarding information customer must provide.
- Prepares and organizes final documentation from customer warranty claims and reviews with Supervisor and/or Sales & Marketing Director for final disposition.
- Completes and accomplishes above tasks and goals under the following parameters:
- Relies on extensive experience, sales techniques, judgment and creativity.
- Fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Builds and maintains favorable relationships with customers for repeat and referral business.
- Calculates shipping costs based on customer¿s service-level needs.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- General filing, faxing, and copying as needed.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks.
- Handle and/or assist with special projects as requested.
- Additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Education and/or Experience Prerequisites:
- Associate¿s degree at the minimum, with emphasis in Sales or Marketing
- Customer service orientation with 2 years minimum sales or customer service experience
- Complete and thorough first-hand understanding of organics and the organics industry, preferably from work experience and organic lifestyle
- Average computer skills
- Accurate typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and handle regular interruptions
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment

Physical, Mental and Environmental Job Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend written correspondence
- Must be able to reason and analyze data and information
- Must be able to sit and be on a telephone for extended periods of time
- Must have Basic math skills
