POSITION: Product Specialist II
LOCATION: Portland, ME
HOURS: Mon- Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm
DURATION: 4 months (contract)

• Supports activities related to several Agreements.
• Acts as product team member on projects involving company Cash Management Services initiatives
• Acts as product liaison with company product team supporting products that involve company subsidies
• Implements new products, programs, services and offers with business line partners, involving any necessary inside or outside resources required.
• Supports established enterprise-wide risk escalation, review, and approval processes, data management, policies, and risk assessment processes.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of existing and emerging risks across the business, and represents the business/function on working groups/project teams.
• Acquires an understanding of the regulatory landscape and requirements, ensuring they are identified and applied.
• Supports company enterprise-wide operational risk strategies and/or corporate risk management requirements performing operational or related risk management activates (e.g. Risk & Control Self Assessments (RSCA), etc.).
• Maintains established policies and procedures and ensures products comply with applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Performs ongoing research into a variety of product related areas, including competitor products and trends; orders research reports, reviews data, performs analyses and prepares summary reports and recommendations.
• Incorporates feedback and obtains necessary approvals. Provides development support to more experienced personnel as needed.
Ensures all products and related disclosures are in Compliance and meet all regulatory requirements.


• Bachelor’s degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
• 5+ Years of related experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial products and services
• Experience in finance , accounting or risk preferred
• Strong Project management skills
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to draw appropriate conclusions from data
• Proven ability to summarize large amounts of information and present logical recommendations
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• PC skills
