Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Production Control Manager Job in Erie, PA, for our client, a busy manufacturer of quality products. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling and inventory control in order to support manufacturing production. The Production Control Manager is responsible for creating a positive and proactive environment, working with customer orders from raw materials to delivery and organizing and set up the scheduling of product and machine runs. The Manager also serves as the point of contact with customers and suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that offers career growth. Our client offers a base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year and a generous benefits plan. A relocation assistance package may be available.

Responsibilities for the Production Control Job in Erie, PA:


Planning and procuring raw materials and MRO components to sustain on time manufacturing
Manage production scheduling for all manufacturing departments to ensure on-time delivery to valued customers.
Manages production control activities to reduce outages
Performs inventory management to include inventory control, accuracy, cycle counts, storage, movement, receiving, shipping and MRP transactions. Understands inputs to MRP system and drives improvements to eliminate outages and improve on hand inventory.
Manages the flow of materials, parts and assemblies between and within departments.
Reviews job orders with customers (i.e. customer service, sales, DC) and production to develop daily priorities.
Monitor execution of job orders and adjust job schedule to meet deadlines and communicates status of job orders to customers. Attend daily meetings to prioritize and plan production activities to maintain on-time delivery.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a Business or related field required
Five (5) or more years of experience as a Master Scheduler, Master Planner, Production Planning, Material Planning, or similar role, managing manufacturing “job planning, scheduling and supervision.
Good communication skills (verbal, written) and ability to work directly with clients in a professional manner
Proficient analytical skills and proficient computer skills
Proficient with MRP systems
Excellent team management skills and leadership skills
