Production Forklift Operation

Adecco is assisting a local Columbus company in seeking out an employee with forklift and operations experience. This opening is a DIRECT HIRE- straight through the door opportunity. The company offers training, competitive benefit packages, and pay increases! The local company melts down some metals fore reuse, sale, or other local company production needs. Responsibilities for this job are:
1.    Operating a forklift in a safe manner. Ability to use a forklift in multiple capacities. Move materials from raw goods, completed product, or hot product throughout the foundry floor.
2.    Ability to work safely, responsibly, and with some independence.
3.    Working in a team to assist in the production process from start to finish. Working in a foundry atmosphere. Assisting in the collection of the metal product, sorting, forklift operation, lifting product.
4.    Operating machinery or furnaces
5.    Coordinating with team and other departments.
6.    Excellent ability to communicate.
7.    Follow instructions and accept other tasks when asked.
8.    Assist with set up and clean up.

1.    Must have a strong work history.
2.    Ability to communicate with a team and to be a team player.
3.    Ability to work independently.
4.    Ability to follow instructions.
5.    Must have 3 years or more of forklift operation experience. 
6.    Must have a high school diploma or GED. 
7.    Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, lift, stand, squat, and crawl through out a 12 hour shift.
