Adecco, Better Work Better Life!! Seeking a Production Manager for a local client located in the La Porte, TX area. Interested candidates must be able to start immediately. Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full time, non-exempt, salary position and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday:
7:30am - 4:30pm with one hour for lunch. Occasional overtime may be needed.

Summary: This position is responsible for Production Departments reporting to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:
? Receive Production requirements from Plant Manager and assign to production departments
? Notify Shipping of available product
? Give Production paperwork back to Plant Manager once reviewed for completion and accuracy
? Work with the Production Scheduler to schedule production jobs based on customer needs & deadlines. Prioritize as needed, deal with scheduling changes as they arise
? Work with the Plant Manager to insure plant is operating efficiently on a daily basis. Look for operational improvements. Assess and fix production problems. Quality control
? Confirm customer specifications
? Test Fitting Pipes
? Minimize scrap (report)
? Deal with maintenance problems as they occur on a timely basis with minimal disruption to production
? Supervise employees, including disciplinary action when needed. Handle performance reviews in conjunction with Human Resources
? Assess temporary employee needs and communicate to Human Resources in a timely manner so temp needs can be addressed to make sure production is not disrupted.
? Report injuries to Plant Manager and Human Resources, and arrange for transportation for injured employees to ER
? Inventory Control for Finished Goods and Raw Materials returning to inventory
? Physical Inventory – Participate in overseeing counters and recounts for finished goods
? TimeCard Report – Review and sign off on weekly timecard report for Production employees

Requirements:
? Knowledge of supervising production and inventory control
? Know and understand basic safety and power tools
? Mathematical aptitude
? Electrical aptitude including wiring systems, pumps, motors and knowledge of 110v, 240v, 480v, single and three phase and basic PLC’s
? Knowledge base in building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing and equipment maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics.
? Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs

Requires special safety precautions such as working around moving parts, machines or with irritant chemicals. Employees are required to use protective clothing or gear.
May work in an area that is very uncomfortable due to extreme temperature, noise levels or other conditions.
This position requires moderate physical exertion.
