Production Manager (Electronics)

Job Responsibilities:

• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Place production orders from customers
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Manage control of materials and labor for efficient manufacturing and meeting customer requirements.

• Direct, manage and interface with production personnel. This includes working through lead technicians to assign work, recommend training and review personnel under your supervision.

• Management of company backlog.
• Assists in the development of company goals.

• Work with Engineering through design review and new product transition from Engineering to Manufacturing.

• Provides timely feedback to the Management team regarding issues and successes.

• Regular meeting rhythm with Production team to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and encourage ideas for improvement.

• Assure compliance with company's Quality Assurance Plan. Training and implementation of manufacturing best practices, lean, 5S's etc.

• Work with Human Resources to discuss any issues that arise in the department with employees.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

• 5-10 years’ experience in Electronics Manufacturing Lean/6 sigma/kaizen certified preferred

• College degree a plus
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Manufacturing /Production experience who have been in a Management Role is required
o This individual would have to manage 10+ employees in our Sensor Dept, 4 in our Aerospace/Instrument Dept
• Electrical Mechanical background preferred but not a must have
• Must be well versed with conflict resolution
• Familiarity with ISO2015 experience. S
• Must be thick skinned and be able to respond when employees challenge you.
• Great computer skills with ERP experience.
o Our client utilizes M-1 by ECI.
• Experience with scheduling of jobs.
• 5-10 years’ experience in Electronics Manufacturing with Lean/6 sigma
• Must successfully pass our clients background check and drug screen
