Production Scheduler

Adecco Staffing is hiring for a Production Scheduler for our client in the Bethlehem, PA area. 



  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics (required)
  • 7+ yrs. of experience in a production scheduler role working for a direct manufacturer (required)
  • APICS certified CPIM or CSCP (desired)
  • Excellent computer skills in enterprise ERP/MRP systems
  • Proficient with MS Office suite – advanced skills with MS Excel
  • Extensive influencing, conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-direct and take constructive action in ambiguous situations
  • Extremely high standards of excellence and quality-oriented mindset
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience in business process reengineering and program/project management
  • Strategic thinker - able to think broadly through a multitude of options


Job purpose

The Production Scheduler has the primary responsibility of creating weekly production schedules for a manufacturing environment consisting of multiple production lines in a 24/7 facility. The qualified individual will ensure that the production schedules are satisfying customer demand while supporting plant safety and efficiency goals. This role also manages various operational aspects of external co-manufacturing engagements. Strong collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance will be critical to meeting key goals for this role.
