Production Supervisor

Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of products used within the energy field. Their products have been used in electrical projects across 50 different countries.

Due to company growth they are looking to add another Production Supervisor to their team. This person will co-manage a team of 25 – 30 direct reports within a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. They will be directly responsible for production, facility safety, staff assignments, equipment operation, layout and fabrication. They will also be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve quality throughout the manufacturing facility.


Responsible for safety inspections, procedures and regulations, scheduled maintenance, and supervision of crew members.
Help coordinate the daily and production related work required to maintain unit availability and productivity.
Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications and reject product outside of those specifications.
Read and interpret gauges, record measurements, document batch measurements, and accurately complete process control logs.
Ensure all team members follow operating and maintenance instructions for tools/machinery, and utilize relevant manuals for adherence to standard operating procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment, follow operating and maintenance instructions for tools and machinery, and utilize relevant manuals for proper operating procedures.
Provide Production Manufacturing data as it relates to the monthly KPI presentation.


Associate’s degree or equivalent experience within manufacturing
5+ years related experience
Proven examples of coaching, training, developing and leading a production team
Experience working with LEAN Principles
Experience developing and implementing process / continuous improvements
Strong communication skills and numeric aptitude
