Production Team Lead

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Production Team Lead position in Central/Northern, CT. This is a 1st shift, Direct Hire opportunity. Responsibilities include:
 

  • Supervise production employees – communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Initiate new systems, policies and procedures that drive continuous improvement throughout responsible area
  • Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process, setting process variables, observing control points and equipment, personnel and resources
  • Study current manufacturing methods used and implementing cost and process time reductions
  • Develop reporting procedures and systems
  • Initiate a sense of cooperation and teamwork between assemblers and departments
  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress and revising when needed
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree desired
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years’ experience as a production associate
