Production Technician

Adecco is currently helping a local client staff a direct hire Production Technician position. This position is responsible for electro-mechanical assembly and in process testing/inspection of products in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of various types of products such as wiring harnesses, cables and electronic alarm and monitoring systems
  • Brings forth creativity in the production processes, adding value to the company’s products
  • Responsible for the completion and accuracy of associated quality and production documentation
  • May test products during and after the assembly process
  • Responsible for a safe work environment
  • Irregular hours are possible
  • Other related duties as assigned


  • Diploma from a technical institution or equivalent work experience is required
  • Working knowledge of wires/cables, preparation of wore, cutting wires to specific lengths, panel assembly, wire stripping, wire terminating and metric measurements.
  • Excellent soldering skills for electronic and electrical components
  • Must be able to understand and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and work from those documents.
  • Experience with resistance, hi-pot, continuity and computerized testing using tools such as a VM/DMM
  • Must be able to measure in both English and Metrics units and convert back and forth between the two.
  • Knowledge of piston engine functions and design, diesel and are highly desirable
  • Microsoft office a must
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
