Production Worker - 2nd Shift


Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Production Worker job in Louisville, KY!

Type: Full-Time; Contract

Length: Long Term / Temp-to-Hire Possible

Pay: $13.00 / HR

Hours: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities for Production Worker job include, but are not limited to:   

  • Assembly line environment where teams are accurately putting together various components throughout their shifts
  • Collaborating and interacting with team members to ensure that deadlines and quality expectations are met
  • Using a wide range of powered-hand tools, (air/electric guns), driving screws, tape application and insulation to assemble, check, adjust or repair items
  • Assembling/fastening wire harnesses, terminating wires; check, adjust, or repair sub or final assemblies; testing and/or packaging of sub or final assemblies
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times to include: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes
  • Able to report any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment that needs attention
  • Able to identify quality issues found through in-line checking and reporting of critical appearance defects for resolution
  • Qualifications for this Production Worker job:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Must be comfortable working in a tobacco-free environment
  • Carry a team spirit and positive, can do attitude
  • Comfortable with physical demands required of the position to include: standing; using your hands for long periods of time, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, reaching overhead, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, and using vibratory tools
  • Able to lift parts and/or equipment - minimum of 42 lbs
  • Ability to work with parts/equipment which may be hot, cold, and/or wet
  • Ability to work in a loud/noisy environment
  • The factories are not climate controlled – conditions can be hot or cold
  • Ability to change shifts and work overtime as required
  • Switching between various production assignments as required
  • All jobs are subject to rotation
