Job Description Overview: As a Localization Expert at Google, you lead complex, multidisciplinary projects to support learning localization needs. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes defining our localization approach that supports our offering, identifying risks and opportunities, clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders, and delivering outcomes. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated and in step with the project's progress, deadlines and deliverables. Responsibilities: Lead the localization of all learning content for external audiences from strategy to launch, managing delivery and ensuring quality of localization across all content Understand localization workflows and services, identify tool and process needs to enable operational scaling, collaborate with technology and system admin teams to support deployment. Build out localized learning content in LMS Liaise with internal teams to manage the forecasting of localization needs and the handoff between teams QA all localization efforts to ensure an optimal user experience Identify areas of optimization or automation to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies. Build strong relationships with curriculum teams, educating and advising them on their content’s localization journey while representing the voice of our global users.

Skill/Experience/Education

MandatoryMinimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience Experience with localization strategy, global audience needs and the workflow and nuances of localizing large amounts of content for various audiences 3+ years of project management experience working across cross-functional teams Technical aptitude, ability to code and familiarity with languages comfort with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS) Excellent written and verbal communication skills desired.

Exceptional project management, execution, and multitasking skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and global environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively influence and communicate (often cross-functionally) with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.
Strong analytical and problem solving experience, combined with excellent business judgment and an ability to present to senior decision makers in a clear and compelling manner.
Ability to manage the details and drive strategy to continually improve the process
Problem solver that is self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
