Adecco is hiring a Program Director. This is a Direct Hire Job located in Rochester, New York. You will be working for a highly respected Organization that specializes in providing care in the Chemical Dependency industry.

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the designated program including: planning, development, and implementation of coordinated and comprehensive recovery based services which improves the quality of life for each person served, implementing evidence based therapeutic programming, providing ongoing evaluation of and creation of programs/services as needed, meeting licensing and accreditation standards as set by agency performance standards, policies and procedures, providing leadership and management for the assigned program, supervising assigned staff, providing a positive work atmosphere that reflects agency values, and providing management in the absence of the Program Director. Job Responsibilities:

Oversees program functions and/or projects as delegated by the Supervisor.

Ensures adherence to state certification regulations, funding requirements (including Medicaid where applicable), and other applicable regulations, policies and procedures governing the program and facilities.

Supervises recordkeeping within unit, and ensures that documentation meets regulatory and funding requirements.

Provides immediate response and leadership to managing crisis situations and behavioral/risk management issues.

Facilitates case reviews to provide oversight, stability, quality and objectivity in the quality of services for the client.

Ensures implementation of evidence based therapeutic programming, providing ongoing evaluation of and creation of new programs/services as needed

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and five years’ paid human service experience or Bachelor’s degree in human service related field and three years’ paid human service experience. Some supervisory experience preferred.


NYS motor vehicle license, safe driving record and availability of personal vehicle for work.
Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined by OMH Residential regulations (for work in OMH licensed program) or OASAS Operating Regulations (for work in OASAS licensed program) required.
Affinity Place staff: Active/In-process of NYS Peer Certification. Completion of WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) training preferred.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Knowledge of Monroe County Behavioral Health service system is preferred.
Basic Computer Literacy as evidenced by the ability to go online and conduct basic searches on the Internet, check his/her email account, create and send email with an attachment and use simple email features. Can open spreadsheets and word processing documents to read and make simple edits.
Intermediate Microsoft Word skills as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic functions as well as create moderately complex documents containing tables and graphs, and ability to mail merge documents, apply page setup functions (margins, page numbers, footers, headers), create an index and/or table of contents, use search & replace, print labels and envelopes.
