Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to find a Project Coordinator in Cincinnati. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising a project team in daily activities. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

GENERAL FUNCTION: Supervising production worker who use detailed written instructions to assemble, by hand, specific elements of a finished product. Must have ability to read and follow instructions to build prototypes of products by hand.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Coordinator Job Description:
• Supervise project team in daily work activities
• Works with P&G managers in PTS group to understand project requirements, then is responsible for training the project team (prototypers) in project specifications.
• Written procedures and specifications are required to ensure clarity between planned execution from Client and the required task.
• Responsible to ensure the execution crew can make the requested product.
• Offer process suggestions for improvements in project efficiency.
• Must understand how to build prototypes to effectively train, troubleshoot and lead the prototype project team.
• Works with Contract Supervisor to assess appropriate staffing levels and amounts to complete the project in an efficient and quality manner
• Responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance requirements are met and for completing the necessary documentation.
• Participate in Client Safety Project and conducts monthly audits
• Escalates project issues as appropriate to both Contract Supervisor (personnel) and P&G (business)
• Has clear understanding of project goals and measures including cost, quality, and timing and is accountable for results.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required and the ability to learn and work with MS SharePoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.


Soft skills necessary for this position:
• EYE FOR DETAIL – these prototype products are used in upcoming research studies and must pass quality audits before use; if the prototype is outside of the set specifications, it cannot be used
• ACCOUNTABILITY – seen as the point person for a specific project from start to finish – responsible for meeting deadlines and QA requirements
• SELF-STARTER – each person will be provided with project specifications but once received, he/she is then responsible for training others and adhering to the P&G specifications provided. Also, must be proactive in identifying issues and work with P&G directly to troubleshoot.
• LEADERSHIP – must lead by example and set the pace of the project
• WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE – projects will come up very quickly and P&G researchers will expect action and results ASAP; must be able to react in a quick and efficient manner, while still producing accurate and quality results

Experience:

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Preferred Associates or Bachelors degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Solid work record outside of the housekeeping and security lines of employment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
• Strong supervisory background with 2-3 years or more of production supervisory experience.
• Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• May be exposed to dusty conditions and loud noises.
• Work frequently consists of repetitive motions.
• No facial piercings, must be comfortable wearing safety glasses, lab coat, hairnet, and bread net when applicable.
• Candidates must have removable jewelry and cannot have painted nails.
