Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Project Coordinator position!

Duration: 5 months
Location: Remote
Pay rate: $20 / hour






Working hours would align with 9-6 PST, training would take about 2 weeks and align with 8-5 MST

You will create process design, project implementation, diagnose process improvement opportunities, and develop solutions. You will also provide quality reporting, analysis, audits, and develop plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using a variety of applicable tools. Enterprise Clinical Performance is charged with effectively implementing, monitoring, and executing on programs related to risk adjustment, driving affordability, and clinical quality activities across all lines of business for OptumCare a $9 billion a year organization, touching over 9 million patients, 80 payers, and 22,000 providers. Enterprise Clinical Performance provides support to all markets served by OptumCare.

The National Advanced Clinician Program Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling Medicare Advantage patients into the Primary Care facilities across the Nation. They are to oversee, manage, and track Medicare Advantage patients for an Annual Wellness Visit with a Nurse Practitioner. The Patient Scheduler will work collaboratively with all OptumCare organization in which Embedded Clinical Support is placed.

This position will report to the Director of the Advanced Clinician Program of Clinical Performance for OptumCare and will be responsible for driving scheduling prioritized patients.

Primary Responsibilities:
• The Scheduling Coordinator is an experienced clerical staff member responsible for coordinating patient appointments involving multiple resources and/or complex record gathering (including records from external entities) to facilitate accurate scheduling
• Schedules and coordinates patient appointments requiring multiple resources and interdependencies. Communicates with all stakeholders including patients in the manner preferred by each (email, report, phone, etc.)
• Is responsible for follow-up including communicating with all stakeholders (verbally, written and electronically)
• Advanced Customer Service skill and experience to connect with different personalities and styles
• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients that lead to more effective communication and a higher level of productivity and accuracy
• Ability to build strong relationships within a clinic/hospital environment
• Identifies opportunities to improve patient relations and shorten the time it takes to handle scheduling processes
• Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications
• This position requires high-level problem solving and analytical skills, technical accuracy, excellent communication skills and the highest ethical standards
• Follows up on errors and offers contributions and suggestions to improve current methods
• Contributes innovative ideas to improve work practices and flow
• Trains and mentors new peers / team members
• Ability to work within complex and multi-layer Matrix org structure
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of scheduling experience and/or prior medical experience as a scheduler in a hospital / clinic / medical facility with complex scheduling algorithms
• Call Center Member experience
• MS Office Suite, intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal communication
• Effectively communicate with patients with clarity and concisely regarding appointments, upcoming appointments and follow ups
• Bi-lingual (Spanish / English)
