Project Engineer

Adecco Direct Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Greenville, SC area for the position of Project Engineer. The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-2 years of Engineering experience, Project Management, a 4-year engineering degree, and CAD Supervision. Job Responsibilities:

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements assigning personnel to phases and elements and reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards completing technical studies preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications calculating time requirements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress coordinating activities.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports and installation layouts by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Maintains safe working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations studying the inherent laws (ex. HC rules)
Excellent knowledge of products supplied, especially above industrial PROCESSES concerning standard or big projects with pre-visit if requested.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with sales staff and service staff to assure customer’s technical needs are understood and achieved.
In addition to phone calls with customers, will often have need to call GTP Italy home office at all hours to provide information and/or receive support information.
Ability to travel in North America (USA, Canada and Mexico) up to 40% of the time via plane or car

Qualifications:

Design Skills and Project Management
Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
Process Improvement and Technical Understanding
Supervision CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design
4 year Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 2 year work experience
