Location: New York, NY
Start Date: 12/18/2017
Duration: 6/18/2018

Responsibilities:

• Work with counsel representing global regions in order to plan and implement the most appropriate legal framework for that region.
• Liaise with local counsel in approximately 51 countries to derive an understanding of local contractual requirements and ensure the local approach is consistent with the regional approach.
• Identify, develop and document processes to help govern the solution post contract execution.
• Qualify the approach with a wider local stakeholder group, including country COOs, country Data Protection Officers and regional compliance officers.
• Lead the draft, negotiation and execution of IGSAs (Intra Group Service Agreements), Schedule of Services and, if required, manage the inclusion of new contractual requirements into the new vendor contract via the contract team.
• Translate regulatory guidance (derived from local contacts) into specific contractual deliverables.
• Contribute to the preparation of reporting for regulators as required.
• Investigate and respond to ad hoc queries by executive boards.
• Contract management such as track and organize multiple contract changes and versions throughout the entire contract phase.
• Assist GP (Global Purchasing) with high value contract presentation materials
• Administrative responsibilities, including managing calendars, taking minutes/notes during commercial negotiations and tracking contractual changes

Requirements:

• Must have legal background or has been involved in the implementation of similar contract deliverables to formalize a service or outsourcing agreement
• 5+ years managing contract administration, drafting and execution
• Prior history of working with senior management on multi-million dollar projects
• Knowledge of banking organizational and regulatory requirements and Vendor Risk Management obligations
• Flexible work hours to accommodate meetings globally

Skills:

• Must be detailed oriented
• Self-motivated and can manage tasks independently
• Able to think critically and problem solve complex issues
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Able to articulate technical and legal requirements into layman’s terms
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
