Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading and directing a team with a proven record of successful commercial construction projects and conveying professionalism towards clients and suppliers. You will be expected to successfully oversee and deliver construction projects from start to finish while ensuring they are completed within a timely and cost-effective manner.
Position skills include, but are not limited to:

5 to 10 years commercial construction experience
Experience estimating commercial projects
Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules and materials in an environment of multiple, competing demands
Experience in buying out projects and negotiating scopes of work with subcontractors
Thorough understanding and awareness of the local construction industry
A desire to be a leader and team player
Strong knowledge of the processes that go into planning, designing and executing a construction project
Knowledge of construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of construction insurance and accounting
Strong relationships with local architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
Ability to travel per project requirements
A willingness to trouble-shoot

The Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

Ensure project safety measures are maintained at all times
Follow and adhere to building and safety regulations
Maintain & complete all project paperwork, permits, and licenses as necessary
Work with the pre-construction team to understand project requirements & budgets
Assist the pre-construction team with the development of the overall project schedule
Purchase various subcontractor and supplier packages that are in-line with the project budget
Manage submittal, RFI, and change issue processes during the construction phase
Coordinate work between project subcontractors
Visit project sites on a frequent basis
Regularly review estimated budgets versus actual costs to confirm project profitability
Provide project updates on safety, budget, and schedule
Manage self-perform employees
Effectively close-out projects and compile operations & maintenance manuals
