W2 Contract: 9-12 months ( potential contract to hire opportunity based on performance)
Pay Rate: depends upon experience $50-$65 per hour
Onsite Location: Charlotte NC

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Client’s Financial Investments team is seeking an experienced Project Management professional to assist with implementing its future state operating model.

Support is required for the Derivatives Hedging Program, Collateral Management and other trading and middle office initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive background in managing large scale, multi-faceted programs.

Principal Responsibilities:



Build and own the project plan/agenda
Work closely with key stakeholders including: tracking, updating, and reporting on project plan status, risks, and activities
Prepare regular status reports and program dashboards to key stakeholders including senior management
Closely monitor and report status of project deliverables
Identify and monitor open issues and risks, raise alerts and ensure follow-up and resolution
Coordinate and facilitate all project management activities, including scheduling meetings, documenting meeting notes and tracking open items.



Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:





Financial Services background preferably with a working knowledge of derivatives and collateral management
Proven track record of project managing large complex initiatives impacting multiple departments
PMP preferred but hands-on experiences or proven Project Management track record most important!!!
Advanced MS Project user with detailed experience maintaining large project plans and status reporting
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities
