We are a team of computational and experimental scientists dedicated to making a moonshot in the life sciences and we are looking for an experimental biologist to join our team for a 1-year contract position. If you are excited about making a difference in this space, we’d love to talk with you. Responsibilities Activities expected of this hire will include but are not limited to:

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to plan and prioritize quantitative molecular biology measurements for validating and refining computational models.

Develop and optimize experimental protocols for various biochemical assays and for -omics measurements.
Develop and implement robust and high throughput assays using lab automation.

Working with computational biologists, implement data analysis workflows. Outsource experimental work where necessary and manage vendor relationships. Ongoing use and testing of early team prototypes of computational tools.

Minimum Qualifications MS degree in systems biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or similar. Experience with modern high throughput molecular assays. Experience with automated or semi-automated instrumentation. Familiarity with analytical and computational methods for analyzing molecular biology data. 5+ years of relevant research experience.

Preferred Qualifications PhD degree in systems biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or similar. Experience developing and optimizing novel biochemical assays. 8+ years research experience.
