Project Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Project Manager – Mergers and Acquisitions Job in Houston, TX for our client, a global organization with manufacturing and distribution centers located throughout the Americas. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of projects across the Americas, including M & A integration project across the region and other projects. The Project Manager will travel extensively in this role. This is a highly visible position within the organization, and candidate must have strong influencing and leadership skills and the ability to work across the highest levels of the organization. Experience with M & A projects are required, as well as strong MS Project or other Project Management software. This position offers a base salary of up $95,000 per year plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities for the Project Manager – Mergers and Acquisitions in Houston, TX include but are not limited to:

Lead the planning and implementation of project;
Uses MS project to define and manage project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Many other duties


Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years+ of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record in complex project and program management experience; Experise in MS Project or other Project Management software.
Must have experience in Mergers & Acquisitions; global experience preferred.
Strong understanding of change management practices
Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with communication and influencing at the highest levels of management across a cross-functional and global organization
Experience of managing geographically dispersed teams.
Able to travel extensively
