POSITION: Project Manager (Non-IT) 3
LOCATION: Cleveland, OH
HOURS: 8AM – 5PM; M – F
DURATION: 4 month (contract) – possible extension
PAY: 62.50/hr.

Job Description

Option to work remote on a one-off basis

Business need for this role:


The CIO Treasury Project Office manages projects across Analytics and Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, and Retail Lending lines of business. The Project Manager will support data analytics focused initiatives in process for the Retail Lending Decision Management.

Day to day responsibilities for this role:


Creating (or updating existing) and maintaining project plan(s) for various data analytics deliverables on a weekly basis


Maintaining issues log including follow up with issue owners on a weekly basis


Track and manage follow up on testing issues on a weekly basis


Organize, facilitate and track follow-ups from work stream meetings


Create cross project dependency list and help with communication across team leads


Prepare project reporting package for data analytics projects


Follow up with various team members to track progress across project plan tasks, identify tasks at risk and escalate to Program Manager


Support for updating any data requirements as needed


Assist with maintaining materials on SharePoint site as needed


Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in a business or other non-technical field such as Finance, Accounting, or Administration or equivalent work experience. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.


PMP or PMI certification

Previous Non –IT project management experience


Previous business project management experience


Retail banking experience would be a plus opposed to Corporate banking


Project Managers that have previously worked on data driven projects

Summary:
The main function of a Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.

Job Responsibilities:




Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope


Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising


Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements


Lead teams of workers in the delivery of high-quality production


Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses


Ensure appropriate development and project management processes are being utilized


Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in a business or other non-technical field such as Finance, Accounting, or Administration or equivalent work experience. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred


PMP or PMI certification


5-7 years experience


Proven project management experience


People management and team building skills


Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities


Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization


Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles
