Project Mgr/Consultant for Regulatory Filings Management
Warwick, Rhode Island
W2 contract 9+ months
Pay Rate: $56.00 per hour

Summary

The successful consultant will be a self-motivated, Project Manager, teaming with the client's Auto & Home insurance Product Operations/Implementation Department. This area is responsible for bringing new products to market through their replatforming effort which is powered by Guidewire. Consultant will work with internal customers, the “the business” group.

Consultant will be responsible for the management of the regulatory filings that will be made for each line of business and state included in the replatforming effort -23 states x 3filings per state. This entails management of resources who are responsible for making the filings, or who have inputs into those filings. This is a time sensitive effort.

Will be responsible for the coordination and completion of project. Oversee all aspects of project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Requirements

MUST have Microsoft Office Word and Excel. MS Project is a plus!
Communication Skills
Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals
Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected 
Result Orientation
Ability to influence and strong relationship building skills


Must be eligible to work for any employer in U.S. without sponsorship / NO corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only and not require relocation assistance.
