Adecco is assisting a local client in sourcing for Project Manager in Roanoke, VA. 

 

This is an expected 6 months project or longer. 

 

Job Description The Associate Deployment Project Manager provides leadership for the implementation and deployment of Client systems. This role has the overall responsibility for delivering and supporting the implementation of multiple projects, with sub-projects of varying scope and size 

 

This customer facing position manages various functions in the delivery of software and service solutions to ensure accurate and timely completion of high customer satisfaction. This position is involved with implementation assignments, consultation, and related deliverables while ensuring high quality and high customer satisfaction throughout the implementation effort.

 

Application Specialist

  • Service Delivery – Completes implementation and training project work, on-time, within the scope and meeting customers' expectations.
  • Consulting Skills - Responsible for determining client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added services, products, etc. with guidance from Lead Subject Matter Experts
  • Communication - Liaises with clients either on-site, by phone or email. Sets project and software expectations and provides status updates regarding project work. Responds to feedback, resolving any issues in a manner that satisfies the customer while meeting business objectives.
  • Project Management - Able to embrace Project Management methodologies (planning, time management, communications, etc.) to deliver these services.
  • Process & Best Practices Knowledge - Ability to recommend and adherence to best practices and process optimization.
  • Status Reporting - Keeping the necessary parties up to date on the status of your project/engagements and escalating as appropriate 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Command of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Very strong troubleshooting skills
