POSITION: Project Manager
Duration: 6+months (contract)
Shift: M-F, 8am to 5pm
Pay: 50.00$ to 55.70 per hour

Position Summary:

Department: We support US Claims organization – All functions outside of claims handling, such as QA, Procedures, Risk Management, Compliance, Reporting, Planning, Appeals, Litigation etc)
This is a Non-IT role our client is looking business aspect of project management NOT the IT side

Metrics/projects/initiatives/daily duties:

Developing a new operating system for small market, our teams role is to ensure the right business resources are provided to the project team and we coordinate those activities, ensure the business is being represented appropriately, and issues/concerns are escalated to leadership for engagement.
Process Mapping when needed (experience with Visio would be helpful)
Other Tactical Coordination – Given our dynamic work environment and that our department supports all lines of business, this client is in need of someone to be able to work on various smaller projects(ie Disaster Recovery Plan updates, development of a resource allocation database, etc) they are accountable for as well as support organizational activities (ie developing scorecards, staffing models, etc
The ideal resource would be someone with leadership quality’s(ie can navigate a leadership team and know what they need, coordinate with all levels in the org), strong organizational skills (ie can manage many projects/priorities and can present information in a polished format) and is savvy with data (ie strong in excel, presenting information in a useful way)

Education and Experience Requirements:

Project Management skills (all aspects including tracking benefits, budget)
Powerpoint presentations skills
Excel skills
Sharepoint database experience preferred
Meeting scheduling, coordination, some facilitation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Person needs to be flexibility and comfortable with fast paced project environment
