Adecco is assisting a local premier financial services/ bank institution in their immediate opportunity for:

Project Specialist


REMOTE NJ or east coast



W2 Contract 7 + months


Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour



Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ( some possible over time )


JOB OVERVIEW

The main function of this Junior Project Specialist is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering,


research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.


This position will be on a fast-paced team of remote workers on a high visibility project with a financial insitution.


Interviewing will be phone and/or Webex. Training would be Webex.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES




Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
May recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

SKILLS:



Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.



MUST HAVE:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (preferred), Finance or Communications required
Junior Project Management experience
5-7 yrs related experience required
PMI or PMP certification preferred
Computer software = MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Project , Visio
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to develop effective relationships with external & internal business partners - strong team collaboration skills
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with team members of all levels
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods


PREFERRED:


Business administration degree
PMI or PMP Certification


This is a NON IT ROLE!!!!!!
