Purchasing Admin


Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Purchasing Administrative Assistant - job in Lafayette, IN. This is a temporary opportunity for 6 months.

Responsibilities for this Purchasing Administrative Assistant job include:

Administration and maintenance of all project related documentation, including timelines, routing, costing, part numbers, and action items, primarily in MS Excel. Interaction with departments and within Purchasing to push project goals and timelines. Some interaction with outside vendors on costing and delivery.


Excellent business acumen and customer service orientation

Must have a good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Access a plus

Analytical and process orientation

4-year college degree preferred, but not required

Office experience with attention to detail

Pay for this position is up to $27.00/hr. depending on experience
