Purchasing Analyst
W2 Contract 12 months
Pay rate $25.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment. Responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organization

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:


Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Onsite support of daily activities for 4 Segment Buyers (totaling +300 supplier codes = $250M Annual Spend)
Supplier collection, validation and issuance of Tooling Detail forms within eRFT system. (supplier collaborations for TDF completion and eRFT submission)
PCD/LBAs: Root cause investigation & working with suppliers on corrective action plans.
Supplier Debit Discrepancies – Collaboration with supplier and suppliers on debit reversals and additional billings processing
CSSA/SIA documentation creation and collaboration with suppliers prior to issuance to Procurement Services group for entry.
Supplier Capacity and shipping performance project lead.
Direct keying of Lognet price changes and coordinator of file preparation for issuance of price changes directed to the Procurement Services team.



Required:

Two to four years relevant experience required
Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline - preferred.
Previous finance-related experience required. Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
Ability to predict consumer buying patterns.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
Knowledge of supply chain management.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Shift 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
