Purchasing Assistant

Job description:

- Create purchase orders

-Ensuring that purchase orders and supporting documentation are received and confirmed by suppliers.

-Track shipments.

-Track orders, audit receiving documentation and reconcile invoices. Notify vendors of any discrepancies.

-Assist with resolution of vendor issues.

-Special projects.

Required skills and qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED equivalent.

-Two years of office experience.

-Strong organizational skills.

-Excellent communication and customer service skills.

-Positive demeanor.

-Proficiency with computers and word processing software, and basic typing skills.

Pay for this position is $14-15/hour. This is a temporary to hire.
