QC Inspector

Adecco is currently assisting a local leading manufacturer of medical equipment in filling a Quality Control Inspector in the Zelienople area.  This position is a possible Temp to Hire Opportunity.


Responsibilities for Quality Control Inspector include:


  • Complete and file quality records including receiving files and non-conforming material reports.
  • Maintain the receiving area in a neat and orderly manner
  • Ability to check and unload incoming shipments
  • Inspect the received goods to ensure their quality
  • Ability to work with other departments if a problem or discrepancy is found and keeping careful records
  • Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records
  • Read and understand drawings and specifications
  • Route items to various departments
  • Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
  • Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
  • Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing
  • General knowledge of measuring tools
  • Good mechanical aptitude and close attention to detail
  • Ensure that all documents and material received in the receiving are of satisfactory quality
  • The ability to work overtime




  • Duties require basic knowledge of inspection/sampling techniques
  • Knowledge of mechanical and physical inspection techniques (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, optical comparator, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and “do it right the first time” attitude
  • Good organization skills
  • Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports
  • High School Diploma
