They are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and accurate Quality Assurance Inspector. The candidate will be responsible of many activities such as:

- Perform the incoming inspections of instruments and their respective documentation
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspection of incoming instruments and components
- Advanced comprehension of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics;
- Advanced knowledge of measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, thread gages, go/no-go gages)
- Advanced knowledge of calibration of measuring equipment and functional tests on surgical instruments
- Support the development of a QMS
- Verifies and records the receipt of components and their condition upon arrival. Documents condition of nonconforming components for material disposition
- Performs inspections/audits of the process to ensure conformance with procedures and identification as needed
- Prepares samples for external lab testing or for shipment to an appropriate testing facility
- Management of the Calibration / Metrology program to ensure all appropriate measuring equipment is available for inspection and test, and that all calibration activities are performed when due;
- Use statistical methodology, such as trend analysis, to assist in analyzing or reviewing manufacturing, quality, and/or data for recurring problems or the detection of a negative trend;
- Analyze processes, work operations, quality records, and other sources of data to identify existing ad/or potential causes of failures
- Participate in development, review, and improvement of the facility’s Quality Plan and processes;
- Cleans and maintains inspection work areas;
- Maintains effective communication with suppliers / vendors and the Quality Assurance Department.
- Collect info and data about the complaints and manage the informative process flow with the company and FDA
- Guarantee the integrity of input and output materials
- Guarantee the integrity of input and output loan kits
- Monitor outputs versus forecasts and propose the necessary corrective actions
- Supervise receiving of incoming materials and re stocking
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager or General Manager

Required experience/education/skills:

-5 years experience in a Quality Assurance position, preferably in a medical company or finished semi-finished goods company/ 1 year in the same position.
-Good command in using calibres, micrometers and understanding of technical drawings.
-Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
-Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820 (nice to have).
-Knowledge of GMP.
-Measuring equipment calibration.
-Collaborative spirit.
-Proactive.
-Problem solving capabilities.
-Good communication skills.

Experience: Pays $45,000 annually.
