Adecco is assisting a local client in need of a Quality Assurance Technician in Eatontown! This is a one year contract opportunity with a well established organization. Previous experience is required.

Responsibilities Include:
- Inspecting all incoming materials shipments & all internally repaired finished products.
- Understanding and following local QA procedures and work instructions related to job assignments.
- Maintaining execution of the job duties in compliance to QSR/ISO/MDD regulations.
- Properly filling out all documents and file properly.

Position requirements include:
- Previous experience performing inspection activities based on established requirements
- Previous experience documenting inspection results and acceptance activities
- Knowledge of basic ISO standards and good documentation practices
- Previous experience with appropriate use of basic inspection, measurement and test equipment.
- Must be able to detect occasional defects in a repetitive operation.
- The ability to analyze non-conformances.
- The ability to make product judgments against specifications and performance standards.
- The ability to judge raw material against specifications.
- Basic knowledge creating charts and graphs for trending using MS Office.
- the ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tensile testing equipment.
- Must have good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records.
- Ensures proper operating of documents and records tracking based on GMP ( Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Production experience in GMP environment is required
- Familiar with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) as relates to Medical Device industry.
- Works under immediate supervision, typically reports to a supervisor.
- The ability to write new procedures as well as initiate Change of Procedures in ETQ or similar electronic documentation systems
- The ability to write Deviations and Corrective Actions/Preventative Action including conducting Root Cause Analysis per established corporate and site procedures
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Medical Device production/repairs.

Education/ Experience Requirements
- At least two years of post-high school training in sciences or related fields or equivalent.

Pay: $19/hour
