Inspect units or parts manufactured in house.  Require a detailed inspection for fit, function, and appearance prior to the units being placed into stock or sent to consumers. This is to ensure quality products are sent out without defects or issues.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Report to the Quality manager to support daily quality inspections.
  • Process units and/or parts that arrive for quality inspection.
  • Inspect and verify units and/or parts per print that arrive from vendors.
  • Inspect and test units manufactured at Powr-Flite.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Record and maintain testing data
  • Record test results on quality controlled documents
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping of all test sheets used.Perform calibration checks
  • Ensure that the testing equipment is properly calibrated prior to the start of every day.
  • Monitor and assist production to ensure they meet production standards.
  • Perform line audits at the beginning of the day to ensure proper parts are being used for the builds.Assist in morning prep work when possible.


  • High school diploma or GED, higher education desired
  • 3+ years of experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to use and read multimeters, manual and digital pressure gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail, team player, and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Able to pass background check and drug test
  • Open to overtime and some weekends
  • Reliable transportation.
