Job Title: Quality Control (multiple shifts) in the South-East Houston area.

Position Purpose: To support Houston TX based manufacturing company through training, mentoring and guiding others; ensuring products manufactured by us meet or exceed set standards


Job Responsibilities:
� Production management responsibilities include ensuring production quality goals are met.
� Recommending, implementing and improving policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficient manufacturing processes to always exceed quality parameters
� Mentor and train operators in the most efficient methods of performing their job including helping to define quality requirements.
� Aid in the assessment of Operator performance and ensures that any complaints are addressed in time.
� Works alongside production team in validation of Good vs. Reject parts and insures that understanding of acceptable quality levels are provided as needed to each Operator.
� Responsible for production reporting in form of audit reports specific to established shift.
� Drives continuous improvement across molding and secondary departments

� Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work areas at each press including safety and 5S housekeeping

Qualifications
Education:
� High School Education or GED

Work Experience:
� Minimum 2 years� experience in plastics manufacturing environment preferably in a management role.

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
� A positive can-do attitude
� Understanding of quality standards and company systems and procedures
� Excellent understanding of injection molding, tooling and materials



Required Skills:
� Able to work independently with little supervision
� Pays extreme attention to detail.
� Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and participate as an independent contributor with little supervision or as an active team member depending on the situation and needs.
� Time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily activities for the most efficient use of time.
� Ability to multi-task while under pressure.
� Maintain a high level of accountability.
� Ability to work in a team environment as well as cross-functionally.
� Eager to learn and catch on quickly
� Sense of discipline and high-quality work ethic
� Follows SOP�s and maintains safety as their #1 priority



Essential Skills
� Good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision alignment.
� Ability to lift heavy items not to exceed 50 pounds.
� Ability to learn and master new assembly skills along with effective communication skills
