Quality Control Inspector

Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector.

Job summary: The QC Inspector will verify the associates' assembly process and complete the corresponding paperwork.  This includes in-process and final. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintains quality standards by approving in-process production and finished products; recording quality results
  • Approves in-process production and final units by confirming specifications; conducting visual tests; communicating required adjustments to supervisors
  • Electro Mechanical/Visual Inspection- sub-assembly and final Product
  • SMT and plated through hole PCA inspection
  • Use of hand tools, magnifiers, Inspection mirrors, torque tools, etc.
  • Team oriented, able to communicate inspection results within a team environment
  • Utilize root cause and corrective action techniques to improve the process
  • Understand and follow manufacturing and engineering documentation, i.e. Bill of Materials, Engineering drawings, work instructions, etc.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE:  Three to six years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience). 
 
EDUCATION:   High School Diploma or equivalent. 
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

Schedule:
  • Train for about 1 month on the 1st shift schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • After training, switch to the 2nd shift schedule of Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
