Quality Control Manager

Job Description
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the quality control program. This position reports to the Project Manager.

Essential Duties

Implement and manage the quality control program

Prepare the quality control plan

Conduct quality control meetings with client

Manage and coordinate the three phases of quality control (preparatory, initial and follow up)

Manage documentation by quality control specialists, testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel

Perform submittal review and approval

Ensure testing is performed, and provide QC certifications and documentation

Lead all quality control efforts
Required Skills

Ability to exercise independent judgment

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, managerial, and communicative (written and oral) skills

Flexibility to coordinate multiple projects

Proficient Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Outlook skills, RMS (Army Corp of Engineer Resident Management System)

LEED Accredited professional preferred

CAD/Architectural drafting preferred
Required Experience

A graduate of a four year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines; Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management

5 years’ experience as a Quality Control Manager on construction projects

EM 385-1-1 Experience preferred
