Adecco is now seeking a Quality Control Tech for a client in St. Mary's Ohio.

Job Description

SUMMARY
Performs all quality control functions performed on 1st shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform operational inspections-checking net weights of finish product and each component of sandwiches.

Take temperature of each component and record.

Monitor product coding and proper labeling.

Insure that the finished product has proper quality and workmanship.

Oversee of good manufacturing practices.

Other:
Insure that the plant thermometers and scales are calibrated and in working conditions.

Perform the plant environmental testing.

Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The person in this position needs to have knowledge of food quality and some manufacturing experience. Also, should posses good math skills and have good communication skills both verbally and written.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
