Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Quality Control position on the southwest side of Indianapolis. This is a temporary to hire opportunity.
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
• Perform testing and auditing to ensure that products are manufactured and packaged according to documented Standard Operating Procedures that are designed to support the development, implementation, and control of the ISO 22716:2007 standard
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, based on business needs
• Responsible for accuracy of all documentation pertaining to all products- close out, log, and file completed batch records
• Perform daily manufacturing process QC inspections
• Perform packaging in-process QC inspections
• Perform label and packaging component QC inspections
• Recommend improvements in paperwork and procedures to improve communication flow, documentation and product quality
• Investigate and document raw materials rejections according to SOP
• Investigate and document raw materials, in-process, and finished product rejections. Conduct micro swab testing to ensure adequate sanitation
• Receive finished product test results
• Record in log book and initiate product release or quality investigation when necessary
• Perform package quality testing for various components to ensure compatibility and meets specification according to SOP
• Inspect and document raw materials
• Maintain finished product retain sample log
• Perform weighing scale and pH Meter calibrations and update log

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral form.
HS Diploma/GED
Prefer six months to one year related experience in a laboratory environment and /or manufacturing environment.
