Located in Solon, OH, we are looking to expand our quality team and add an additional Quality Control Technician to our 1st shift operations. As an international company, our client produces all types of fasteners, nuts, bolts and seals for a variety of industries and ships them around the world. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products leaving our facilities are 100% accurate and meet all customer requirements. We take quality seriously and document all our findings and testing results, ensuring that we can trace any issues back to a small product portion and minimize any possible errors that may occur.

As the Quality Control Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing testing and inspection processes including: measuring for fit, tolerance and gap as well as ensuring material defects are not present
Provide limited technical support to our customers such as drawing and specification reviews and interpretation of blueprints and designs
Support of new product introductions, performing initial inspections on a more frequent basis
Maintain reporting and documentation related to the inspection process
Testing and calibration of inspection equipment


Qualifications:

High School diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality role OR completion of a 2-year degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years in a quality role
Proficiency with PPAP (production part approval process), FAI (first article inspection) and SPC (statistical process control)
Knowledge in gage calibration, GD&T and dimensional layouts
Familiarity with ISO standards (9001 and/or 17025 preferred)
Functional computer skills
