Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Quality Engineer I role in Troy, IL!

Contract Length: 12 months
Pay Rate: $27-30/hour DOE

Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:

• Performs verification inspection of purchased materials from suppliers.
• Performs verification inspection of product for compliance to customer’s requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of measurement systems, techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods
• Able to interact with customer representatives.
• Familiarity with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008
• Analyze quality problems and advise plant personnel.
• Data entry, data analysis and preparing detailed reports.
• Good understanding of word processing, spreadsheets and databases. (Microsoft Office).
• Assist teammates in defect recognition and customer requirements.
• Provide support to floor for containment when needed.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree (prefer an emphasis in Engineering and/or Business Management) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing/operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Minimum of (1) year experience in a Quality role
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
