Quality Inspector-Customer Service

Adecco is currently hiring for a temp to hire OR Direct Hire Quality Inspector for their Customer Service Department.  

Job Summary:


The primary role of this position is Quality Technician.  This individual must possess solid written and verbal communication skills, understand and disseminate technical product information, troubleshoot product issues, be able to function in a fast paced environment and have a genuine commitment to helping others. This position requires extensive hands-on collaboration with our Customer Service, Design, and Quality Assurance teams, solid firearms and sports optics knowledge and testing, data entry, receiving and shipping, and administrative duties. Secondary role is to perform delegated tasks for marketing/sales support, customer resolution, and order entry.  Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and perform under pressure while maintaining a high degree of credibility and integrity. 

  • Inspection and data reporting support on product returns. 
  • Provide technical assistance and issue resolution on Optic products while creating a win/win scenario for both the customer and us
  • Enter warranty and order data into database and inform customer of repair processes, receiving, and shipping date projections
  • Answer incoming internal and consumer calls, e-mails and/or faxes on product inquires and to process warranty claims and/or requests for replacement parts
  • Develop, maintain, and support working relationships with Quality Assurance, Marketing and Product Management, and Design Engineer personnel

Experience and / or Education:

Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Technical / Customer Service or a Customer-Focused Sales environment and solid firearms knowledge or demonstrated aptitude. Knowledge of sports optics in particular is highly desired.  High school diploma or equivalent; or prior military experience.  College degree a plus.

  • Working knowledge of hunting practices, shooting sports, ballistics, sports optics and rifle scope applications
  • Familiar with binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle scopes, red-dot sights and rangefinders.
  • In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
