One of our largest clients in NE Portland, a leader in the technology industry, is growing rapidly and is currently hiring!   Positions are full time and long-term opportunities. 

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to inspect electrical and mechanical components! 


Job Title: Quality Control – Quality Support 3/Quality Inspector

Shift: M-F: 1 PM to 10:45 PM
Pay range: $16.50-18.70/hour DOE

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Inspects electrical and mechanical components, and may conduct audits to ensure conformance with engineering product/component specifications.
  • Uses inspection equipment such as optical comparators, pin gauges, coordinate measuring machine, surface plate and various hand tools to verify parts meet dimensional specs and tolerances.
  • Assures visual integrity of incoming material Conducts in-process and finished product inspections checking for workmanship, dimensional specs, tolerances and usability from a functional standpoint.
  • Checks soldering, wiring, component placement and polarity, subassembly placement, connections, etc. Assures visual integrity of products.
  • Monitors product quality trends to identify possible problems and escalates to appropriate person(s). Separates and returns non-conforming materials.
  • Maintains documentation on product quality and FPY.
  • Provides Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other data reporting.


  • 3-5 years of prior Quality Inspection experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and ability to learn and use applications specific to this area
  • Ability to maintain detailed, accurate and organized documentation on incoming components and defects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers
  • Basic manufacturing system knowledge

  • Knowledge of Quality Control/Inspection procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to sit, stand and inspect large units.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Strong work ethic
  • Background and drug screen consent
