Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an exciting Quality Technician – Jr Level role in Fridley, MN! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

We are looking for highly motivated people to help with an exciting new process. In this role you will be responsible for collecting and examining product in the lab. Technicians on staff will have a crucial role in ensuring the quality of product, while working with operations to uphold the integrity of the products produced. In addition, testing and maintenance of the lab, as well as, cataloging and documenting sample flows and results will be a major part of this role. Lifting objects will occur and you must be able to lift 50 pounds. Computer and team working skills are key to this position. 

Responsibilities: 


• Following good manufacturing practices and good safety behaviors 
• Collecting and cataloging samples. 
• Examining product quality physically and with machine assistance. 
• Working with other technicians and operations to ensure a safe, quality product. 
• Maintenance and upkeep of the lab and equipment 
• Candidate must supply their own safety shoes after first week of training 

Qualifications: 

• Technical College Degree (2yr) 
• Entry Level: 0-3 yrs. Experience 
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills for product development and pilot plant runs. 
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. 
• History of strong collaborations with GMI vendors/suppliers. 
• Demonstrated ability and familiarity with food product formulation. 
• Basic understanding of food science principles and the experimentation process. 
• Takes initiative in technical problem solving. 
• Proficient in basic Computer skills-Excel, MS Word and general computer application software. 
• Good Written and communication skills 

NOTE: The work schedule would be Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm for training week. After training week, they will be put on a team that rotates every 6 weeks between 6:00am – 6:00pm and 6:00pm – 6:00am.
