Fast growing metal forming company of proprietary products seeks a Quality Technician with three to seven years experience. Individual will join a dedicated quality team in a fast paced, growing, manufacturing environment
-Responsible for Calibration program, Including hands on calibration and qualification of all types
Of gages. Will handle scheduling of external calibration services.
-Candidate will be responsible for programing and operation of CMM for qualification of tooling and gages as well as daily general operation of complex measurement equipment.
-Candidate will be responsible for providing training to other personnel on all measurement equipment and will be the go to person for utilization of such equipment.
-Candidate will be responsible for upkeep of current SPC programs and will assist in the development and improvement of the overall SPC program.
-Reviews certification packages for product and releases for shipment in ERP system.
-Files electronic data on server and maintains accurate and orderly certification files in QA.
-Assists Inspectors as needed with day to day inspection tasks.
-Assists the lead Inspector and department manager as needed.
-Other tasks as assigned.


Job Qualifications
-Must pay attention to details
-Must have familiarity with calibration techniques and calibration software
Specifically Gagetrak highly desired
-Experienced With programing and operation of Mitutoyo CMM highly desired
-Experience with Vision Measuring systems desired
-Must be experienced with Statistical process control
-MUST be a team player
-High School Diploma
-High energy individual needed.
