Type:                      Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract

Length:                  6+ months

Shift/Hours:          Hours would typically be 8:00-4:30 but flexible.

 

Responsibilities for this QuickBooks Bookkeeper job include, but are not limited to:

The Bookkeeper position will work together with the bill pay specialists and relationship managers of our client’ organization to provide ultra-high net worth clients with bill payment services and expense reporting. This position requires a professional that will perform his/her day-to-day duties by utilizing knowledge and experience gained from prior employment in a related field and/or college studies and/or classroom training and/or development through day-to-day assignments.
• Utilizing QuickBooks - enter, code and reconcile transactions in designated client spending accounts and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare accurate customized client deliverables including expense summary and detail reports, prior year comparison reports and consolidated balance sheets on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Assist with client bill payment daily by reviewing and approving client batches and releasing electronic payments
• Perform monthly reconciliations of client bill pay accounts. Follow up with bill pay specialists on items needing attention
• Review and record client household payroll in QuickBooks
• Support relationship managers by conducting research, preparing ad hoc reports and fulfilling miscellaneous requests
• Assist with new client onboarding by building chart of accounts tailored to a client’s specific situation and organizing newly received client information for team reference
• Complete general administrative tasks necessary for departmental operations and company compliance
• Maintain organized electronic client files


Qualifications for this QuickBooks Bookkeeper job:

• Experience with high net worth or ultra-high net worth clients  
• Strong experience with QuickBooks
• Ability to work well with others, be organized and detailed oriented and possess effective communication skills
• Strong accounting background, particularly in accounts payable, expense reporting and chart of accounts
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong documentation skills
• Team player
