GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in a Team oriented work environment or independently to meet customer expectations. Responsible for moving racks into predefined floor locations per the “Cell Flow Process” and “Operational Lay out”, Responsible for 5S of all individual trash cans on the production floor as determined by supervision or other management.  Responsible for the scanning in and placement of production and strip racks in to and out of the Anodizing System.   Rack movers will follow provided direction of the Kanban board or direction of floor supervision as it pertains to production.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the movement of all production and strip racks to and from the anodizing system per the “Cell Flow Process” and “Operational Lay out”
  • Responsible for 5S of all individual trash cans on the production floor as determined by supervision or other management.
  • Responsible for the placement of customer supplied and/or manufactured parts in to or out of the Anodizing System.
  • Responsible for the review of racked parts and racking components prior to the movement of the rack.  (Specifically review racks for “loose” parts that can potentially fall off of the rack and or components that may be bolted on or to a rack and any connection points that are missing fasteners, welds, etc...) 
  • Responsible for the use of provided tools to tighten rack connection or components on the rack for the purpose of securing customer parts to the rack.
  • Responsible for Quality standards and customer required specifications as applicable.
  • Responsible for filling out all required documentation per provided instruction, including but not limited to: Production Report, Inspection Report(s), Final Audit Tag, Final Audit Tag Strip, Quality Tags, Defective Material Record, Material Discrepancy Notice.
  • Preform quality checks as outlined in work instructions.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards observed in the work area.
  • Meet established production rates per Customer Drive Production Goals document.
  • Report any and all problems to Supervisor immediately.
  • Additional duties as determined by the Shift Supervisor.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in meeting production requirements outside the area for which you have been trained.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills
  • Ability to recognize safety hazards and work within safety guidelines
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and work in tight spaces
  • Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
  • Must be capable of preforming repetitive task

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Exerting up to 20-75 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 labs. Of force frequently and /or greater than negligible up to 10lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of sedentary work.
