Adecco is currently assisting a large client in their search for an R&D Associate Analyst

 

Partner with the Business & Program Manager and Regional Process Owners to execute the R&D nutrition data input, in line with business process standards, as part of the standardized global nutrition reporting process within Global R&D at the regional level

Key responsibilities include:
DATA INPUT
• Ensures data inputted is complete, accurate and prepared based on data governance guidelines for associated markets
o Markets; US, Canada
o Priority Data; Company key nutrients
o Additional Data; more Company nutrients, published Food Tables data, competitor data
• Partner with Process Owner to validate data input on a Quarterly basis to reach successful certification status
• Partner with IT to support automated data loads on a frequent basis
• Provide proactive oversight to ensure that system data is complete and accurate based on data standards and business process guidelines
o Utilizes system reports to identify data issues and leads correction activities on a quarterly basis
o Maintains ongoing connections with Finance MDM Sustain team to correct misclassified finance attributes
SUSTAIN PROCESS
• Accountable for preparing and maintaining supporting documentation in line with data governance guidelines
o Develop regional best practice guidance to support future data input activities
o Participates in Nutrition Data Collection Forums with other Regional Control Owners quarterly
• Promotes and demonstrates the use of R&D systems and nutrition reporting tools within associated markets
• Maintains relationships with Product Developers to ensure data related to new product innovations and product reformulations are captured within each Market data set in a timely manner
• Provides input into the development of effective technical solutions proactively identifying, logging, communicating and addressing issues

FUTURE PROCESS
• Partners with Business & Program Manager to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications to further improve the process quality
• As a regional subject matter expert, participate into special cross-functional projects with global R&D, IT, Finance, etc. to further improve and automate the R&D nutrition reporting capability


Critical Competencies:
• High attention to detail and strong communication, verbal and analytical/mathematical skills
• Understands importance of data accuracy and transparency and how data is being used to effectively execute data reporting process
• Must have knowledge and demonstrate and demonstrate an understanding of nutrition attributes e.g. via product development or nutrition science experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a team oriented environment and adaptive to changing priorities
• Need to be able to work with key individuals in other locations and time zones as assigned
• Willing to develop detailed training documentation and adhere to corporate standards/change management policies


Basic Qualifications:
Educational Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred Science discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:
• CPG industry knowledge experience preferred
• System administration/database management experience (i.e., Documentum, SharePoint)

 

Starting ASAP duration 10+ month contract role
